As he does every summer, Josh will reside as the ‘CORNtroller of Entertainments’ for York Maze - the UK’s CORNIEST attraction! Having written, created and appeared in their various shows for few years now - he’s quite the CORNoisseur of the pun, so you can expect a fair few of them to CROP up as you explore this aMAIZEing attraction. York Maze was COBsmacked to win the ‘Best Event’ at the Visit York tourism awards in 2021… and, being regularly described now as ‘Yorkshire’s answer to Disneyland’ really is SO much more than just a Maze! CORNpletely inCORNparable!
Josh is delighted to be back alongside the resident Brick Lane Music Hall performers, getting stuck into a good ol’ fashioned cockney knees up (Mother Brown!?) This East London venue is a vaudeville paradise… showcasing the best of old school variety, and Josh is humbled to continue performing there.
Josh is delighted to be a part of the British Music Hall Society’s yearly anniversary show this year, not least being back in the Phoenix Arts Club, the brilliant cabaret bar beneath the Phoenix Theatre, where he resided with the ‘Calendar Girls’ musical back in 2017. Expect all his usual antics in the form of comedy, magic, juggling, general frantic daftness… and maybe a poem or two!
In October, Lil’ Dribble rises from the dead, as the ‘Resident Grubby Granny’ for York Maze’s infamous and multi award winning Halloween events. Hallowscream is an extreme scare event (not for kids!) and Hallowtween is it’s slightly diluted sister event (for kids from 10-15, and adults of a nervous disposition!) Josh’s chainsaw-wielding OAP alter-ego is responsible for camping up proceedings, and she looks forward to meeting you!
Having been twice been nominated for 'Best Comic’ at the UK Pantomime Association’s annual awards, Josh is proud to be back for his third season at Darlington Hippodrome for CROSSROADS PANTOMIMES, the world’s biggest panto producer. “Goldilocks & the Three Bears” is sure to be the traditional story that you know and love, with a whole load of PANTO twists, not least a circus theme! The striking sets, stunning costumes, song, dance & usual daft comedy antics will provide both a transfixing fairytale story, and “a pantomime spectacular that’s just right." Don’t miss it!
Following the award winning success of ‘Pinocchio and his Wooden Whopper’, Josh is delighted to be back for his fifth season at the incomparable Brick Lane Music Hall, as part of their pantomime (for grown ups!) With the UK Pantomime Association having awarded Brick Lane with the ’Nigel Ellacot Special Recognition Award’ in their 2025 ceremony, this naughty panto is set to be just as much of a riot, in a venue very close to Josh's heart.
